The list of holidays for the Academic Session 2019-20 was announced by the University vide order No-2259 dated 12.07.2019. The outbreak of the Pandemic COVID 19 has disturbed the entire calendar since March 24, 2020 when national lockdown was declared.The national is still observing lockdown 4.0 until May 31, 2020. The period of announced summer break need to be changed in the current Scenario. Hence, it is notified that the summer break for the teaching faculty of the University will be from May 22^nd, 2020 to june 21^st, 2020. The essential offices of the University shall remain open during this entire period and all other offices of the University shall function from 1^st June, 2020 subject to guidelines issused by the Government of India. This has the approval of the competent authority.

As per direction received from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi through D.O. letter No:13-26/2020-CU. Cdn.dated 13th May 2020, it is notified that all the officials / faculty members of the university should desist from any act of discrimination against students on ground of their social origin. These instruction should be strictly complied with. this issues with the approval of the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor.

Teaching in UG/PG semester classes have already been suspended until March 31^st 2020 vide notification no - 05/R/150/2020 dated 17.03.2020 to take all precautions so that spread of COVID-19 is prevented. It is not yet certain how long this fear will persist. Therefore, it is requested to all faculty member to scan the available online courses related with the subject being taught in the current semester by the teacher concerned and suggest the best link(s) to your students so that they may continue their studies at home and come out with queries online, for clarifications if any. This effort will prevent a long disruption in studies and will help us in the maintenance of announced academic calendar.

विश्वविद्यालय एवं सम्बध्द महाविद्यालयों की सभी कक्षाएं दिनाक 22/03/2020 तक स्थगित रहेंगी।

Prof.Pandey is requested to ensure proper record keeping of all the relevant records and files of the Pravesh Bhawan from the Academic Session 2015-16 to till date. He will also prepare inventory of all stocks/items available in the Pravesh Bhawan with the help of Estate Manager and shall explore the possibilities of Designing and Implementing an admission software for the purpose of admissions in variouus courses of the University, so that the University conduct admission in these courses from the next academic session on an annual basis on it's own.

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में दिनांक 20.06.2017 को राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति की पहली तिमाही बैठक आचार्य नरेन्द्र कुमार शुक्ला, कुलसचिव एवं अध्यक्ष राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न हुई। बैठक में विश्वविद्यालय में राजभाषा हिन्दी के अनुपालन पद चर्चा हुई। इस बैठक का संचालन श्री सूर्य नारायण सिंह, उपाचार्य एवं संयोजक राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति ने किया, जिसमें राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति के सदस्य सर्वश्री भूरेलाल, ओमप्रकाश गुप्ता, अनिल कुमार सिंह, प्रभात कुमार मिश्र, संजय तिवारी, सुरेशचन्द्र ओझा, केदारनाथ दुबे, अंशुमान उपाध्याय उपस्थित रहे। सभी ने राजभाषा के प्रगामी विकास के लिए अपने-अपने सुझाव दिए। अन्त में श्री हरिओम कुमार, हिन्दी अनुवादक ने सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया।
